Recipe: Avocado Deep Conditioner
- 1 Avocado
- 3 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 1/4 cup of Aloe Vera Juice
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- A drizzle of castor oil
Preparation: purchase one avocado from your local grocery. Place avocado into a paper bag for 1-2 days or until ripened.
*special note: a ripened avocado is a dark green color and feels soft to touch.
In a blender mix all of the ingredients except the castor oil until smooth. Pour the light green mixture into a small bowl. Drizzle a small amount of castor oil on top. Mix again with a spoon. Part your into 4-6 large sections. Apply the deep conditioner to your hair from root to tip. Place a plastic cap on hair for 30 minutes before rinsing hair.
